Yorkshire Dales
Our spring 2008 walking holiday weekend to the Yorkshire Dales shall be in the market town of Hawes. A change of destination to explore some new interesting walking in the Yorkshire Dales area. Giving us opportunity to sample the local bistros and restaurants that Hawes offers for our great evenings together.
The market town of Hawes is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The glorious scenery of Wensleydale around us, the most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales. Renowned for its beauty, picturesque stone villages, walls and great walking holidays.
Our days walking here will be in and around Sleddale, Raydale and Bishopdale, but we make a start on Friday. Other walks will be splendid too, walking part of the Pennine Way and equally enjoyable.
