French Alps

For those who have passion for breathtaking scenery be it by foot or bike. Our visit of this combination is to the French Alps, between Chamonix and Port du Soleil. An area of charming villages and scenery to take your breath away.

The bike riding will encorporate contouring the mountain sides and valley bottoms on smooth singletracks. Our choice of trails will be tailored to suit all our abilities and preferences. With a choice of as much or as little of each activity as you wish.

Our walks will give us the unique feeling of the landscapes and nature. Our walks shall be along alpine ridges, surrounding us with amazing views, including the awesome spectacle that is Mont Blanc. Wildlife is of abundance in this region, where we shall see some birds of prey to include Buzzard, Kestral and if we are lucky Golden Eagle. There is wide variety of flora fauna,

We shall be staying near the village of Samoens, in a charming historic chalet or traditional style, nestled amongst the high mountains, just minutes from the village centre.

The accommodation shall be on half board basis, with hearty breakfasts, picnics for mid-day lunches, and three course evening meals with unlimited wine and beer. We shall eat out on one evening mid-week to sample the local cuisine at one of the restaurants in Samoens village.
