During this holiday we shall explore the mountains of Monchique and unspoilt coasts of the Western Algarve, ideal rambling opportunities. We shall be staying away from the tourist areas in the historical town of Silves. Once a capital of the district, situated proudly on top of a hill. Silves until the early 19th Century was described as The Kingdom of the Algarve.

The walks will be a unique combination of hill walking and coastal paths, within the Natural Parks of the Algarve. There will be walking through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Granite Mountains of the Serra de Monchique providing ruggedness and grandeur with spectacular views down to the coast, through the National Forest and unspoilt countryside where the indigenous trees of the Algarve can be seen.

A chance to explore the historical town of Silves. the Algarve is famous for its golden coastline.remaining unspoilt, undeveloped, thus preserving the unique flora and fauna. A fabulous combination of sights and scents.
